What we do

Most companies raising capital take strategy from one adviser, the deck from a designer and the brand from an agency, and investors notice the joins. We do the thinking and the making in one place, so the business, the story and the brand say the same thing.

  1. Insight

We start with the investor’s view of the business: the market, the numbers, the risks they will raise and the comparisons they will reach for. You get a plain account of where the case is strong and where it will be questioned.

    The investor-readiness review
  2. Position

Then we settle what the company is, who it is for and why it wins, and make every surface say the same thing: the brand, the deck, the website and the way the founders tell it in the room.

    Investor narrative
  3. Connections

A raise depends on reaching the right people prepared. We map the investors, advisers and partners who fit your stage and sector, and shape the approach to each, so the first conversation starts from the right place.

How an engagement runs

The order is always the same. How long each stage takes depends on what you already have: some clients arrive with a settled position and need the narrative, others need to start with the investor’s view of the business.

3DPC

3DPC was preparing a growth financing round. The technology and the client list were strong, but the story was written for engineers, and many of the investors it needed knew little about the sector.

Romco Metals

Romco needed to be understood by investors and buyers as more than a recycler: a supplier of the metals the energy transition depends on.

Insights

All insights
  1. Investment readiness

What investors check before a first meeting

Most first meetings are decided before they happen. What an investor checks in the ten minutes before they agree to meet, and how to answer it on the page.

  2. Positioning

    Positioning comes before the deck

A deck is a record of decisions. If the company's position isn't settled first, the deck becomes a list of everything the company could be. What to decide, and in what order.
