Capabilities

Three disciplines, run as one engagement: understanding how investors will see the business, settling its position, and preparing the approach to the people who matter.

  1. Insight

We start with the investor’s view of the business: the market, the numbers, the risks they will raise and the comparisons they will reach for. You get a plain account of where the case is strong and where it will be questioned.

    The investor-readiness review
  2. Position

Then we settle what the company is, who it is for and why it wins, and make every surface say the same thing: the brand, the deck, the website and the way the founders tell it in the room.

    Investor narrative
  3. Connections

A raise depends on reaching the right people prepared. We map the investors, advisers and partners who fit your stage and sector, and shape the approach to each, so the first conversation starts from the right place.

In detail

  • Investor-readiness review

Your deck, numbers and investor list, read the way an investor will read them, before you send anything.

  • Investor narrative and pitch decks

The story investors will repeat to their partners, and the deck that carries it.

  • Brand strategy

Position, message, name and identity, settled before the deck and the website are built on them.

  • Websites

Built alongside the deck and the brand, so an investor who looks you up finds the same company.

Questions

Who do you work with?

Founders and boards preparing to raise, from a first round to growth capital, and companies repositioning before a sale, a partnership or a new market.

How does an engagement start?

With a conversation about what you are working towards. If it is a fit, we propose a scope and a fixed fee in writing before any work starts.

Do you take a success fee?

No. We work for a fixed fee agreed in advance, so our advice is not tied to whether or when you close.

Where do you work?

Globally, with a local perspective. Our clients are in the UK, Europe, Africa, Japan, South America and Australia, and we learn each market before we advise on it.
